Bowlers are becoming very fed-up with the anti-social behaviour of youths and children in our parks, with foul language and missile-throwing. Older people cannot retaliate as we are unable to touch them.

There are a few of us who are beginning to feel we should do something about it and take the law in our own hands.

Bowlers and tennis players have to pay for our time on greens and courts which is a large sum of money to some people.

In Preston Park one Wednesday recently a park attendant was having a kick-around with his mates.

On an adjoining green other youths were playing football and I am sure they never paid a penny. What about the park attendant?
