The recent breakdown in the air traffic control system has caused concern about the proposed super fire control covering some eight counties.
It is possible that smaller systems would work. I see no reason that there should not be a single unit for Sussex. The area is little different to that of neighbouring counties with one control. I think if it has to be a larger area it should cover the south east, comprising Sussex, Surrey and Kent. A total, I estimate, of a few more than 130 stations.
