In response to Steve Piper (Letters, March 5), yes, the Brighton Centre is a busy place and there are a lot of conferences and concerts, but this does not alter the fact that acoustically it is the worst venue for live music I have ever been to and remains one of the the ugliest buildings in Brighton.
The sooner it is removed and a new building that blends in with our beautiful seafront, the better.
When designing the new one, get a sound engineer involved to make it a state of the art concert venue that all music lovers can be proud of.
