A 25-year-old motorist was seriously injured after crashing his car in the grounds of a former mental hospital.
The man, thought to be local, was driving a white Ford Fiesta at Graylingwell Hospital in College Lane, Chichester, when he collided with a tree at 10.20pm yesterday.
He was taken to St Richard's Hospital.
Graylingwell, which used to be home to 1,000 mentally ill patients, closed two years ago.
