An MP has written a second letter to the chief executive of Barclays Bank demanding assurances that up to 350 jobs in East Sussex are safe.
Hastings Labour MP Michael Foster yesterday contacted Matt Barrett after his first letter went unanswered.
Barclays is considering moving its sales and finance centre from Hastings to India, where costs are much lower.
But the plan has cast doubt on the future of jobs, leading to grave fears from both finance union Unifi and Mr Foster.
