A late goal from Omari Coleman sentenced Worthing to their first defeat in seven games at Dulwich Hamlet.
Rebels, boosted by a 31st minute opener from Frenchman Florian Mateos, paid the price for failing to make the most of their first-half dominance.
Dulwich equalised on the stroke of half time with a soft goal from Danny Arkwright after recalled goalkeeper Ross Standen failed to deal with David Moore's free-kick.
Ben Carrington, playing out of position at right-back, conceded the free-kick with a foul that led to him being booked.
Dulwich keeper Scott Ward saved efforts from Paul Rogers and Carrington before Coleman hit the winner seven minutes from time with a shot on the turn from Moore's cross.
Coleman almost struck again at the death with Worthing pushing up when he was just off target following a through ball by Charlie Side.
Worthing, who broke the deadlock with a shot by Mateos that took a deflection, were in charge in the first half and Gavin Geddes went close on several occasions while Mark Knee also put a header over.
Striker Sam Francis came off the bench to replace Geddes for the final 27 minutes as Worthing suffered only their third league defeat of the season.
