On Sunday we took our dog to Newhaven for a walk and in a mad five minutes she jumped off the end of the walkway where the lighthouse is.
We were terrified we had lost her and our heartfelt thanks to the coastguard team and a fisherman who jumped over the wall on to the rocks to save her.
We didn't find out the fisherman's name - he was from Slovenia we think - but thanks.
Our dog may not have survived without you.
