I was intrigued to read Steve George's letter (November 4) as my own repeated correspondence to Ivor Caplin, my MP, on the Government's expansion of the Aldermaston Nuclear Weapons establishment, went unacknowledged.
Having attended George Galloway's sobering analysis of New Labour's contempt for the democratic process at the Brighthelm Centre, I think Ivor's "no reply" style could represent a form of party loyalty.
