Lewes remain in promotion contention after another thrilling win in London Three South East.
They were 13-0 up at on stage and eventually snatched a 21-20 home success over Gravesend.
Matt Sole's try from a quick tap, plus a conversion and two penalties by Neil Rumble, opened a commanding half-time lead.
Gravesend responded to lead 20-13 but Lewes swept back and Ben Wood finished off the best move of the match.
There was still time for Gravesend to kill the ball in their desperate defensive efforts with Rumble coolly slotting the decisive penalty just seconds from time.
