What a marvellously shocking front page you had on November 5.
Artist James Cauty's juxtaposition of the World Trade Centre explosion and Big Ben was marvellous because good art is sometimes shocking and brutal.
Art that starts a debate and shows you alternative viewpoints is a good thing - even if that debate is about how much some may hate the artwork itself.
If we took shock and dissent out of art, all we would be left with is Constable and Monet - how dull!
September 11 is an uncomfortable issue but its ramifications still persist today - draconian homeland security, legislation, Afghanistan, Gulf War II, Camp X-Ray.
It seems the artist's intention was not to mock the victims - merely highlight the issues surrounding its aftermath.
