While the "opposition" party trips out on the prospect of a new leader, they should perhaps remind themselves that during his time as Home Secretary under Mad Maggie's leadership, Michael Howard's reactionary and anti-democratic strategies gave rise to the rule that bears his name.
The Howard Rule states: If your policies and/or actions make Howard appear sane and reasonable, it's time to go before the men in white coats take you.
