A pedestrian was still in a critical condition today after being hit by a bus in the centre of Brighton.
The woman was taken to Royal Sussex County Hospital with serious head injuries following the collision yesterday morning.
The number 49 single-decker had been travelling in the bus lane at the bottom of North Road, heading towards Moulsecoomb, when the woman in her 30s was struck.
Sussex Police are continuing their investigations.
