A woman is tricking West Sussex people into handing money over on their doorstep after feeding them sob stories.
Police say she called at a house in Redford Avenue, Horsham, on Saturday evening and asked to borrow money for rent.
The previous day, she is believed to have called at a house in Ashleigh Road, also in Horsham, and asked to borrow money for a taxi, saying she had dislocated her shoulder.
However, she left after a neighbour pointed out to the householder the caller had also been to his home and he had given her £23.
She is white, 5ft 6in, in her early 20s, with blonde shoulder-length hair.
