Two work colleagues killed when their car was involved in a three-car pile-up in East Sussex have been named.

David Kelly, 43, of Stonehouse Drive, St Leonards, and Peter Maurice Walsh, 50, of Ponswood Road, St Leonards, died instantly.

Mr Kelly was driving Mr Walsh home from work with another passenger in his Toyota Carina when the smash happened on Tuesday evening.

The Toyota passenger escaped before passing out on the roadside with non life-threatening injuries.

Sergeant Keith Ellis of the road policing unit at Bexhill said: "We would like to hear from anyone who saw the collision."
