Girl band Atomic Kitten have cancelled their concert at the Brighton Centre on November 21.

The band are postponing their sell-out tour by ten weeks to give themselves more time to prepare.

The Brighton date is now rescheduled for March 5.

A spokesman for the band, whose hits include Whole Again and Eternal Flame, said: "Atomic Kitten are the first UK girl band to sell out an arena tour since the Spice Girls.

"Now they have made the difficult decision to move their tour back.

"This is in order to balance requests for additional dates here and in Europe with the November release of their third album, which would have compromised preparation for this, their biggest tour yet.

"The girls are hugely disappointed to have to move the dates until after Christmas and are sorry for the inconvenience they know this move will cause some people."

Fans should contact the venue or the ticket agent where they bought their ticket to transfer to the new date or apply for a refund.
