Karate displays, canoes and DJs are just a few of the attractions on offer at a sports fair for young people in Lancing.

Local sports clubs are attending the event today at Boundstone Community College. Club members are manning interactive stalls and providing information.

The fair aims to raise awareness of the opportunities available in the Adur district and raise the standard of sport in schools.

Adur District Council sports development officer Mark Kentell said: "This is a brilliant opportunity for young people in Adur to find out what sport clubs are out there.

"It promises to be a really good afternoon, with demos to watch and music to listen to."

The fair takes place from 3pm to 5pm. Students and parents from local schools have been invited.
