I would like to thank The Argus for printing details of the Thyroid Friends' Group.
Judging by the turn-out at our first meeting, thanks at the end and phone calls afterwards, it was a great success and much-needed by those attending.
Jemma, who is just 20 and is a thyroid sufferer, did a wonderful job of organising this meeting.
With support from her family and friends, we were able to inform about treatments available for thyroid problems.
The next meeting of the Thyroid Friends' Group will be on Tuesday, October 7, from 7-9pm at Level Two, Hanover House, 118 Queens Road, Brighton and the first Tuesday of every month thereafter.
