The body of a man found at the foot of cliffs has been identified as that of a missing businessman.
Colin Lines, 60, of Silverhill, St Leonards, vanished from his home on Saturday, August 26, without a word to his family.
His car, a P-registration Ford Mondeo, was later discovered at Fairlight Country Park.
Mr Lines' family said it had been totally out of character for him to go missing but believed he may have been worried about business matters.
On Wednesday his body was discovered at the bottom of cliffs at Fairlight, Hastings. It was taken to the Conquest Hospital where his family identified him at the weekend.
Police are not treating the death as suspicious and an inquest will be opened shortly.
