Ryman League: Lewes are on the verge of signing former Manchester United striker Marc Whiteman.
The 20-year-old spent five seasons at Old Trafford without breaking into the first team and then had a spell at Bury.
He will play for the Rooks in Sunday's friendly with the Sky Sports Dream Team at the Dripping Pan (2.00) and then in Monday's game at home to Farnborough Town.
Lewes boss Steven King said: "He will be a massive asset to this club."
New signings Junior Kadi, Dwain Clarke, Luke Fontana and Peter Adeniyi will make their home debuts on Sunday against the Dream Team side, which features cast members from the soap opera and is organised by former Albion forward Andy Ansah.
Tony Reid, joint top scorer last season with 24 goals, has left Lewes and could join Bromley.
