Burgess Hill are upset with Gillingham after the First Division side cancelled their pre-season friendly at Leylands Park on Monday, August 4.
Gillingham were expected to send a full first team, having done so last season, but have now pulled out without an explanation.
Hillians boss Gary Croydon said: "There are financial considerations when these games don't take place.
"It was Gillingham who arranged the game this year, then a fortnight before the game they pull out and we are not happy."
