As a founder member of St James's Street Action Group, I have always been concerned about the area.

Bylaws are pointless unless they are policed and long gone are the times when police had local knowledge.

Run by academics who seem to lack common sense, this city seems to be out of control when it comes to alcohol and drugs.

The UK seems to be a country of consultation and more consultation. But actions speak louder than words.

You can rely on our support in the traders' action.

Maybe we need a revolution.
