Soiled is one of those shows you walk out of thinkin: "how on Earth did they dream up the idea for that?"
Set in a nightmarish world similar to the the one portrayed in the computer game Abe's Odyssey, the show takes you on a surreal journey to the bowels of hell and back.
Featuring a boxing ballerina, a tightrope-walking bird and sawdust-spitting psychic, Soiled demands you unplug your reason and let your imagination run riot.
Visually spectacular, this technical masterpiece blends theatre, animation and film to create an eerie underworld populated by puppets.
The set is like a box of tricks where nothing is quite what it seems. Blink and a room has become a bed, blink again and the bed has become a boxing ring.
Although dark and haunting, it is blended with a surreal humour that makes the show unique.
