A teenage boy was punched in the face in an unprovoked attack in Hailsham, police said today.
The 14-year-old was walking along London Road when he was set upon by another youth.
The boy was taken to the Eastbourne District General Hospital after being punched several times.
Police today appealed for help in finding his attacker.
