Sussex coach Andy Turner is backing his promotion winners to take the feelgood factor into the Tetley's County Championship.

The No. 5 seeds host Kent at Worthing tomorrow (3pm) eager to build on the relative success of last season.

Sussex won both their home games last time around to secure their impressively high ranking and have retained Worthing's Jodie Levett as skipper.

Haywards Heath and Worthing, both of whom went up in the recently completed club season, provide the bulk of the line-up.

Turner said: "If we can build on the success of clubs like Haywards Heath and Worthing we will do quite well.

"We've got a good bunch of guys who want to play for the county and make sure we book a trip to Cornwall for the quarter-final."

Kent call on eight players from National League Westcombe Park and Blackheath.

Westcombe Park's Nick Oldham should get the chance to take on some of his former Worthing colleagues.

Sussex's squad shows two changes to the line-up initially announced.

Young Saracens prop Ben Broster is unavailable so experienced Worthing front row man Sean Bennett steps in.

Winger Henry Goodburn has pulled out through injury.

The one relatively unknown name is that of Roly Killeen, an Australian centre whose chances at Worthing have been limited by the restrictions on overseas players.

County games are a good chance for players to express themselves and both teams have named line-ups to play an expansive game.

Sussex: Cook, Coulson, Killeen, Butler, AN Other, Graham, Meredith; Shadbolt, Killick, Bruce, Lyall, Cox, Levett, Rankin, Wattam. Reps: Kruger, Smallman, Bradford, Davis, Ure, Bennett, Hemsley.
