A woman has been killed and a man seriously hurt after a three-car crash on the A272 near Horsham.
The crash happened at 8.50pm on Easter Monday between Coolham and Dragons Green in West Sussex.
The woman driver of a Nissan Micra, from Hertfordshire, was pronounced dead at the scene and a 25-year-old Surrey man, at the wheel of a Jaguar X-Type, suffered serious injuries.
A 34-year-old man from the Horsham area, driving a Hyundai coupe, was not hurt. None of the vehicles were carrying passengers.
Police are appealing for witnesses to contact the Road Policing Unit at Haywards Heath.
