Houdini the seal has been giving animal experts the slip and feeding his face on salmon.
Locals were given permission to kill him but, after appeals from the Sussex-based British Divers Marine Life Rescue, gave him his own fishing licence instead.
Unlike the fish, Houdini really is the one that got away.
