The body of a man was discovered in a Worthing shopping precinct today.
A staff member at McDonald's called for an ambulance when the man was found outside a shop in Liverpool Gardens, Worthing, just before 7am.
He was taken to Worthing Hospital where he was found to be dead.
He is believed to be about 60 but police have not released his name.
The man was not though to have sustained any obvious injury and police appealed for anyone with information to contact them on 0845 6070999.
