The Iraq war seems more like crude birth-control than likely to either catch Saddam Hussein or stop the US collecting cheap oil by brute force.
It will be answered by attacks on the UK. Moreover, we will pay to reconstruct Iraq by the Government imposing tax increases.
A mistaken war will cost us in lives, money and human sorrow. Charity should begin at home.
