Sunday is Mothering Sunday, a special day when we can show our mums our appreciation for all they do for us throughout the year.
This year, there are many mums whose sons and daughters are serving with the Armed Forces in the Gulf and these are worrying and stressful times for them.
All mums who have lost sons during the conflict have our sympathy at this sad time for them.
Hopefully, other mums will be able to enjoy their special day as far as possible.
