Chichester beat Selsey 2-0 in division one of the County League thanks to goals from Roger Moore and Jamie Laidlaw.
The top-of-the-table clash in division two ended in a 2-2 draw between Eastbourne Town and Rye and Iden United.
A crowd of 205 saw Yemi Odubade put Town ahead but Shaun Loft levelled before half time.
Town boss Dave Winterton said: "We would have liked to have won but it was a fair result. It leaves everything as it was."
East Grinstead beat Shinewater 5-0 with James Horner scoring a hat-trick.
