Albion boss Steve Coppell names an unchanged line-up for the tussle against mid-table Rotherham at wet and windy Withdean.

Coppell has resisted the temptation to tinker with the team beaten 1-0 at relegation rivals Stoke on Wednesday.

That made it consecutive defeats without scoring a goal for the inconsistent Seagulls after a hat-trick of victories.

Anthony Rougier, on loan from Reading for a month, continues upfront with Bobby Zamora.

Rougier came off the bench to grab the only goal in Albion's previous home game against Millwall.

Gary Hart was completing a four-match ban, while injuries continued to rule out Michel Kuipers, Paul Kitson and Robbie Pethick.

Coppell revealed in his programme notes that he has been using a sports psychologist friend Rob Forzoni in preparation for matches.

Rotherham manager Ronnie Moore, a player at Tranmere when Coppell began his career, has already made his mind up that the Millers cannot make the play-offs following Tuesday's goalless home draw against Walsall.

Moore was forced into one change, Shaun Barker making his debut at rightback in place of calf injury victim Marvin Bryan.

The visitors' midfield included Curtis Woodhouse, who preferred to join Rotherham on loan from Birmingham rather than Albion.

Former Seagulls striker Richard Barker was among their replacements.
