The pleasure many people, including Margaret Waite (The Argus, March 1), get from feeding birds is therapeutic.
However, most people forget wild animals are very clever and will multiply to match the food source available.
If Mrs Waite is not willing to feed in moderation, Brighton and Hove City Council should take her to court to ensure she does, rather than to ban her completely.
