Komedia's theatre may be shut until April but the cabaret bar still has plenty on offer.

Get along to Aussie comic Mark Little's Boogie Woogie Beach Bum Bar for some Antipodean madness and mayhem.

Featuring Mark And The Mingers, The Gay Hooligans and Poets Win Prizes among many other very special guests it's a beaut of a night out (Thursday, March 6, and Monday, March 24, £10/£6 conc, £4 students).

The Viva Elvis Show will be supplying some Vegas glitz and kitsch with local Elvis tribute artist Lance Powell.

There will be many a sequinned costume which, coupled with some unique visual effects, should make for a memorable evening (Monday, March 10, £6/£5 conc).

Herbie Flowers' Fez Bar, now in its seventh year, will be making its regular monthly appearance with a complete re-run of Herbie and Mike Hachard's sell-out, prize-winning show from the Edinburgh Festival.

The usual fine jazz interspersed with anecdotes will also feature a musical quiz with prizes galore (Tuesday, March 25, £8.50/£6.50).

Herbie will also be holding a mini rockshop for budding musicians. It's a perfect oppurtunity to get some pointers from the man who wrote the bass line to Walk On The Wild Side.

Voodoo Vaudeville makes a welcome return to Brighton after its immense popularity forced Lennie and Morris into hiding for a while.

School Trip To St Trinians is a Voodoo theatre special inviting you on a school trip to the mother of all schools.

Expect uncoordinated dancing, confusion and just plain weirdness.

Headmistresses in drag, a stolen racehorse and jolly hockey sticks will also feature heavily (Friday, March 28, £8/£6 conc, £1 off for anyone who is brave enough to turn up in school uniform).
