Promotion-chasing Lewes are under pressure from the chasing pack after being held to their fifth deadlock in six league games at Tooting.
They took the lead after 54 minutes through Matt Allen but Steve Symes equalised midway through the half.
Meanwhile, Bognor kept their promotion hopes rolling with a 6-0 victory at Croydon.
Lee Stevens and Michael Birmingham claimed doubles as the goals flowed after a subdued opening 40 minutes.

The game sparked to life five minutes before the interval when Lee Stevens caught home goalkeeper Matt Martin off his line from 35 yards.
Five minutes later Stevens got his second.
Bognor went three up after 57 minutes when Michael Birmingham scored from a penalty after Stevens was brought down by Danny Moody.
Two minutes later, Michael Harper scoredwhen he finished off his move involving Jodey Rowland, Stevens and Birmingham.
Birmingham netted ed his second after 85 minutes and Jamie Howell completed the scoring in the final minute.
