A special deal is being introduced by rail companies so Sussex travellers can visit tourist attractions and shows in London.

It enables passengers to buy two tickets for the price of one for entry to attractions such as the Tower of London, London Aquarium, London Dungeon, Kensington Palace and a range of museums and galleries.

The promotion also includes two-for-one deals at some London West End shows.

The campaign is the capital's biggest rail promotion for 20 years and is being funded by South Central and other train operators.

Marketing manager for South Central Andrew Ayers said: "This is a great offer where passengers not only benefit by saving money and having a great day out but we also hope it will encourage more people to use the train when visiting London.

The promotion runs until April 30.

To obtain the discounts, passengers need to pick up a leaflet at South Central stations, fill in the voucher and present it, along with a valid rail ticket, at each attraction.
