How pleased I was to see a positive headline for once about asylum-seekers, many of whom have suffered greatly to get here (The Argus, February 3).
The comments of Chief Constable Ken Jones were measured and responsible and such a contrast to some of the more negative points headlined over the past few weeks.
Our nation has been made up of wave after wave of immigrants and is all the richer for it. Good luck to this wave.
