Cyclist Alan Pipes finds bike lanes in Brighton and Hove such a mystery he has devoted a web site to them.
One of the cycle routes is only 5ft long and many do not connect properly with each other at all.
The more lanes that are built, the stranger the network seems to become. It is a vicious cycle.
