A charity is celebrating 35 years of helping disabled children ride horses.
Hope in the Valley, the Riding for the Disabled Association group, will launch is 35th anniversary celebrations at the Hickstead Equine Event in January.
The group will present photographs that show the pleasure, independence and therapeutic benefits that horseriding can bring handicapped children.
Hope in the Valley, which is run entirely by volunteers, was launched in 1968 by Chailey Heritage night nurse Mary Gethen.
The charity is appealing for more help at riding sessions and with transporting ponies.
Later in the year the group also intend to stage a reunion party for ex-riders and helpers.
Group organiser Sheila Blair said: "We hope this event will help us find the 200 riders and volunteers who have played such an important part in our first 35 years."
More than 150 trade stands will be at the event, held on January 10 to 12, at the All England Jumping Course.
There will also be a daily forum of events featuring showjumpers Tim Stockdale and Peter Charles, European eventing champion Pippa Funnel and Young Rider stars Charlotte Edmonds and Jamie Wingrave.
