I congratulate G Konig for his well-timed protest against the Medina proposal.

I have been to see the drawings at Hove Town Hall and recommend the trip for a good laugh.

While trippers are at it, let them have a look at the specialist studies that go with the application to justify it.

The developer, Deltastar, isn't laughing. It must be serious. Besides the cost of those specialist reports, it has parted with £6,160 to Brighton and Hove City Council.

Quite apart from what such an 18-storey block would do to the conservation area close by, think also what it will be like to walk on the Prom and see this thing, or to go on the beaches or into the sea and look back at it. Ludicrous.
