G Konig predicts Hove becoming like Benidorm but I believe lessons have been learned and no tall buildings are allowed there now.
However, I can hear the developers of the former Medina House site in Hove saying: "It's not a very big site so let's just build high. Of course, there will be objections from the usual suspects and letters flying back and forth to The Argus. Save Our Seafront Version Two will be formed and, instead of everyone enjoying their lives, they will all be attending protest meetings. But, hey, no worries, the council is always on the side of developers and we will get our way in the end."
Why do these plans get a hearing at all? Deltastar should be told at this early stage there is no chance of an 18-storey building being approved in this position and the developers must be told: "Don't mess with our city."
