I am a Chinese student who has come to Brighton to learn English and live with a host family.

Every day I travel by bus to and from school. I always have to wait for a long time for the bus, which leaves me out in the cold, or I arrive five minutes early and the bus has gone.

This is especially bad at the weekend because if I miss the bus I have to wait half an hour, since the buses arrive just twice an hour. I also think the bus timetable is not accurate.

In my country, it is very different from Brighton and Hove. The bus timetable is regulated and normally the bus arrives every five or ten minutes.

You can catch buses at any time and you don't have to wait very long.

Also, we have bus conductors who help the bus driver to take the passengers' money and give them change, so the bus moves off more quickly.

All in all, I think the bus services in China are more efficient than here.
