Lewes claimed another notable scalp with a 1-0 win at premier division side Maidenhead in a Bryco Cup second round replay.

Dominic Barclay fired the Rooks in front after just two minutes but the home side missed a great chance to equalise five minutes later when Lee Channell blasted a penalty well wide.

Barclay was wrongly denied a second by an offside flag and Paul Kennett's goalbound shot was inadvertently deflected wide by Matt Allen.

At the other end Rooks keeper Russell Tanner made two great saves to preserve the lead.

Maidenhead spent most of the second period camped in the Lewes half but they could not find a way past a resolute defence.

James Grant scored twice as Horsham finally saw off Abingdon Town in a first round replay.

Grant opened the scoring with a superb strike from the edge of the area in the 36th minute as Horsham dominated the first half.

Gary Charman was denied by a last ditch save by John Beams before Grant added the second in the 48th minute after good work by Andy Falako.

Abingdon threatened little after that and Horsham completed the scoring in the 77th minute.

Grant this time turned provider for Matt Ottley to convert from six yards.

Hornets had Keith Mtambara sent off late on.

Former Luton and Sheffield Wednesday midfielder Scott Oakes hit an injury time winner as St Albans City beat Bognor Regis 3-2 in the second round.

Gary Crawshaw put St Albans ahead on eight minutes but Jamie Howell levelled 14 minutes later.

Michael Birmingham converted a penalty to put the Rocks 2-1 ahead on 82 minutes but substitute Simon Martin levelled a minute from time, then Oakes pounced.

Worthing's second round tie away to Tooting and Mitcham was postponed.
