The Quantum Leaf coffee shop has done everything it possibly can to stay within the law.

It has a strict enforcement policy of no dealing, no hard drugs and no alcohol. It is away from public view.

It campaigns for the medical use of cannabis and supplies its disabled users at a discount (of which I am proud to be one).

How can it possibly be in the public interest to spend thousands of pounds sending 30 riot police to bust the place?

There is no victim to this "crime" except the thousands of people in the Worthing area who enjoy smoking cannabis socially and are forced to do so in secret and risk buying it from dealers.

This business and others like it could provide billions of pounds in tax revenue and users would be safer in the process.

Let us not be hypocritical - accept this happens and try to make it as safe and as lucrative as possible.
