Patcham councillors are to be congratulated on supporting residents of the Brangwyn Drive area in their successful opposition to the planning application for the erection of a five-metre telecommunications mast on the adjoining railway embankment.
The implications of such masts and their ancillary equipment are not fully known.
They should be sited away from residential areas.
