We hear so much about firefighters' pay and strikes.
Why not spare a thought for our brave servicemen who have to man antiquated fire engines with out-of-date equipment?
This makes fighting serious fires much more hazardous.
No chance of a rise - or danger money - but no complaints. We should all be thankful and say, "Well done, lads."
