A car crashed into the back of a van on the A27 near Falmer today, causing major traffic delays.
The car driver suffered minor injuries in the collision involving a Renault 21 and the Mercedes van at 7.50am today.
A stretch of the westbound carriageway was cordoned off by police until they had cleared the scene by 9.30am.
The accident caused delays for rush-hour motorists travelling towards Brighton.
