Last Friday, I phoned the council for the second time about having no street lighting at night. I was first told it was not viable to have street lighting in the night.
My second call was because two cars went up in flames in the early hours of this morning, one at each end of my road.
In all, seven cars have been burnt out in as many weeks. Is this because it is so dark in the road you cannot see any prowlers?
People come and go about legal business at all hours and the road should be made safe for all users.
Many residents feel we should have street lighting all night, not off at 12.30am and back at 6am.
