Standing at the bus stop the other day, an elderly lady was constantly moaning to me she had been waiting more than 20 minutes for her bus and, in all probability, two or three would turn up together.
When the bus finally arrived, this sweet old lady lambasted the poor old driver for what seemed a decade and, when asked to tender her fare and county card, couldn't find it as it was at the bottom of her bag.
When the bus finally moved on after another six minutes wasted, this woman was still moaning about its bus being late.
Talk about double standards.
