Seaford-based office supplies company 9 to 5 has bought Active Office Furniture of Lewes.
The two firms have been leaders in the fields of office stationery and furniture for some time By bringing them together the new board of directors says customers will have a more comprehensive service.
Managing director Bryan Bonwick said the combined strength of the two business creates a formidable buying partnership enabling the new business to maintain a fiercely competitive edge.
The combined business has been named 9 to 5 Active.
It's stationery department will remain in Seaford and the office furniture showroom will stay in Lewes.
Mr Bonwick said: "With its depth of knowledge and experience 9 to 5 Active is in a commanding position to bring improved benefits to customers."
