Telecoms testing firm Spirent, based in Crawley, has appointed John Weston as non-executive chairman.
Mr Weston was formerly chief executive of BAE Systems, growing the business from an organisation located mainly in the UK to an international group with multibillion pound sales.
He takes over from James Wyness, who had been acting non-executive chairman since the sudden death of Dr George Sarney in April this year.
